The active ingredient in Streetwise pepper spray is Oleoresin Capsicum (O.C.), commonly referred to as red pepper. When considering which pepper spray is most effective, one must consider the percentage of pepper being used and the heat rating of that pepper (measured in Scoville Heat Units or S.H.U.). All Streetwise pepper sprays are two million S.H.U., which is the highest available. At 17% and two million S.H.U., Streetwise pepper spray is the hottest, most powerful in the world. The potency of this spray enables it to bring down even the most aggressive assailants.
This large size unit can be placed in your home near the front door or on the night stand near near your bed. It can also be carried in a holster (sold separately-see item # 1CEHOL4) or in a purse. It features a twist lock safety to prevent accidental discharge. Cannister measures in at 5 and three-quarter inches x 1 and a half inches x 1 and a half inches. |
